Inside an Intuitive Healing Session: Part Three, the Living Grid

Healing Notes: Part Three – The Living Grid

Over the past two Healing Notes, I’ve shared what happens during an intuitive healing session and what many clients experience afterward.

The next question I’m often asked is:

“What is The Living Grid?”

The simplest answer is this:

It isn’t something I create.

It’s something I uncover.

Every session begins the same way—with intention.

Whenever possible, I take my work outside. It’s where I’ve always felt most connected to the land that has shaped my life. But whether I’m beneath the trees or working from my studio, every session receives the same care, the same attention, and the same intention.

When the healing session is complete, my work isn’t finished.

It’s simply changing.

I begin drawing your Living Grid by hand. Every line is created specifically for you, reflecting the energetic patterns I observed during your session. There are no templates, no computer-generated designs, and no two Living Grids are ever the same.

Then, I make my journey to the creek.

I take my time. I walk the water’s edge with your session still fresh in my heart and mind, carefully selecting the stones that will become part of your Living Grid experience.

I never rush this part. It deserves the same care and attention as every other step along the way.

Once everything has been thoughtfully prepared, your Living Grid and stones begin their journey home to you.

When your package arrives, it isn’t simply the end of your healing session.

It’s the continuation of one.

The completed Living Grid is accompanied by carefully selected stones that become part of your experience. Long after your session is complete, the grid and the stones remain there for you to return to whenever you need them.

I don’t think of the Living Grid as something that creates healing. The healing has already begun.

Instead, it becomes a way of returning to that work.

Life has a way of pulling us in a hundred different directions. It’s easy to lose sight of ourselves in the middle of responsibilities, worries, and the constant noise of everyday life.

The Living Grid offers something beautifully simple.

You pause.

You sit down with your grid.

You begin moving the stones with intention.

As your hands move, your attention follows. For a few quiet moments, your mind and your body are working together instead of pulling in different directions.

Nothing around you may have changed.

But something within you often has.

Many people describe feeling more grounded, more present, or simply more like themselves again.

That has always been my hope for the Living Grid.

Not that it becomes something you own, but something you experience.

Something you return to, not because you have to, but because you’ve discovered what those quiet moments can offer.

Like so much of healing, it’s difficult to fully explain.

It’s something you come to understand by experiencing it for yourself.

Thank you for joining me through this three-part Healing Notes series.

My hope has never been to convince anyone of what I do, but simply to offer a window into my world and help make something that can seem mysterious feel a little more understandable.

Healing doesn’t always begin with answers.

Sometimes it begins by paying attention.
