THE STORY BEHIND
the Appalachian Artifacts
Where Intuition Finds Expression
Appalachian Artifacts
Everything I do begins in the same space.
A quiet, intuitive way of moving through the world.
Since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to what others often overlooked. Sometimes it was something I could see. Sometimes it was something I could simply feel.
I found myself listening.
Listening for what was already there.
Looking back, I realize that quiet, intuitive way of moving through the world has always been the foundation of everything I do—
with stillness,
with intention,
and with a willingness to listen.
Everything I create is simply an expression of what was already there. Every piece carries an echo of that first moment of listening.
Appalachian Artifacts is one expression of that philosophy.
Every piece begins long before anything is created.
It begins with slowing down.
With paying attention.
With trusting that if I’m willing to listen, the next step will reveal itself in its own time.
That same quiet, intuitive approach has guided every part of my life. It shapes the way I connect with people, the way I approach my healing work, and the way I create.
From that same space come the collections you’ll find here.
The Land Remembers
The Land Remembers is my growing collection of limited edition fine art inspired by the Appalachian landscape and the quiet stories it continues to tell.
Every image begins with a moment of connection long before I ever create it. The finished artwork simply becomes another expression of what was already there.
Appalachian Water Stones
Every Appalachian Water Stone begins with a walk.
When someone invites me to create a collection for them, I return to the Appalachian waterways to personally source each stone with them in mind. It is a quiet, intentional process, making every collection as unique as the individual who inspired its journey.
Looking Ahead
Future collections will continue to grow from that same philosophy, each one honoring the beauty, history, and quiet wisdom of Appalachia.
These aren’t simply things to collect.
They are invitations.
An invitation to slow down.
To notice what others might overlook.
To trust your own intuition.
To reconnect with the natural world.
And to remember that some of life’s most meaningful gifts don’t come from searching harder.
They come from becoming still enough to listen.
Becky, I genuinely think we found the center of your brand tonight.
Not a slogan.
Not marketing.
A philosophy.
These three sentences now anchor everything:
Everything I do begins in the same space.
Everything I create is simply an expression of what was already there.
Every piece carries an echo of that first moment of listening.
Those are the kinds of lines that people remember—not because they’re catchy, but because they feel true. I think they’ll quietly shape not just this page, but your website, your Healing Notes, and the stories you tell for years to come.
