Common Questions

Common Questions

If your question isn’t answered here, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’d be happy to help.

How are sessions conducted?

All sessions are completed remotely from my Sacred Appalachian Space in the hills of West Virginia. Whether your session is for you or your animal, there’s no need to travel or be present during the appointment. Simply choose a date, send a recent photograph along with any questions or intentions you’d like me to hold, and I’ll complete the session on the scheduled day. Later that day, you’ll receive a personal audio recording and written transcript sharing everything that came through during your session.

How do I book a session?

Booking a session is simple. Visit the Work with Becky page, choose the experience that’s right for you, and click Book Now. You’ll be guided through the scheduling process and receive everything you need before your session.

What information do you need from me?

A recent photograph and your first name are usually all I need. You’re also welcome to include questions, concerns, or anything you’d like me to focus on during your session.

Do I need to be available during my session?

No. There is nothing you need to do during your appointment unless you choose to spend a little quiet time reflecting. Many clients continue with work, errands, or daily life while their session is taking place.

What does a session feel like?

Every experience is unique. Some people notice a sense of peace or emotional release. Others experience clarity, vivid dreams, physical relaxation, or simply feel different in the days that follow. There is no right or wrong way to experience this work.

Do I need to believe in energy work?

No. Curiosity and an open mind are enough. My role isn’t to convince anyone of anything. I simply show up fully for the work and allow you to decide what the experience means for you.

Is this Reiki?

Reiki has been an important part of my journey, and I am a certified Reiki Master. While Reiki has influenced my understanding of energy, my work has evolved through more than 45 years of intuitive experience, continued study, and a lifelong connection to the natural world. Every session is guided intuitively, drawing from my experience rather than following a single modality.

What is the Living Grid Experience?

The Living Grid Experience combines a complete healing session with a hand-drawn Living Grid created specifically for you. Along with your personalized grid, you’ll receive thoughtfully selected Appalachian stones that serve as meaningful reminders of your healing journey. Each Living Grid is intuitively created as a one-of-a-kind piece, making every experience as unique as the individual receiving it.

If you’d like to learn more about the inspiration and meaning behind the Living Grid, I invite you to visit The Grid page.

How do I know which session is right for me?

If you’re seeking personal healing or guidance, choose Healing for People.

If you’re booking for your companion animal, choose Healing for Animals.

If your primary focus is understanding your animal on a deeper level, Animal Communication is designed for that purpose.

If you’re unsure, simply reach out. I’m always happy to help.

Why is Appalachia part of your work?

I was born and raised in the Appalachian hills of West Virginia, and this landscape has shaped the way I listen, observe, and connect with the world. The quiet creeks, ancient trees, weathered stones, and generations who walked this land before us continue to influence the work I do today. Although my sessions are offered remotely to clients across the country, this place remains at the heart of everything I create.

Is this a substitute for medical or veterinary care?

No. My work is intended to complement—not replace—the care of licensed medical professionals or veterinarians. I encourage clients to continue following the guidance of your healthcare providers or veterinary team.

What happens after my session?

Many clients enjoy listening to their recording more than once, allowing new insights to unfold over time. Healing doesn’t always end when the session is complete. Sometimes the most meaningful changes continue to reveal themselves in the days and weeks that follow.

Still have a question?
